Site layout/ Generator planning: Please make sure you are fully aware of the power requirements of each item ordered and bear this in mind when selecting a location for your equipment. For example, if you select 3 inflatables and require 3 generator outlets, these 3 items must be grouped together within a distance of 75ft. They cannot be placed at separate ends of the venue.
If you require inflatables to be erected in separate areas of the venue exceeding 75ft from one another, you must select 3 smaller generators as opposed to one larger one. If you are unsure of the requirements, please feel free to Contact us for advice.
Please note: The client is responsible for ensuring that suitable security and crowd control measures are in place prior to the start of the event. This includes the safe provision of Generator fencing and hoarding etc. We provide the entertainment only unless our services as site supervisors/ event managers are provided. Full guidance and safe operation sheets can be provided in advance should you require. If no guidance is requested it will be presumed that you are aware of the HSE requirements and as such we will not accept any liability for loss or damage. It is also worth noting that all generators left without a member of our staff will require refuelling by yourselves, please make sure you have adequate provision for this on site. All fuel must be stored must be stored in a safe, inaccessible place with the most minimum firs risk. Please ensure you have a dedicated person to deal with this at all times.
Delivery Areas; Our standard delivery includes areas of Leeds, Wakefield, Huddersfield, Halifax, York, Doncaster, Sheffield and other areas of West Yorkshire, However, we just love to travel & are able to cover the whole of the UK on request. Staffing Requirements; This particular item requires compulsory supervision at all times. With this particular item, it does not specifically require our services directly and supervision by the hirer is acceptable. In hiring this equipment, you agree that you are in a position of trust and competent to manage such equipment. Should you require any further information, Please contact us directly and we will happy to guide you through it. What the price includes:
The hire price full set-up and collection of the entertainments you have chosen. Upon delivery of your entertainments, a member of the delivery team will speak with you in regard to any paperwork that needs to be signed, verify payment and check that your chosen space allocation is suitable. The entertainments will then be set-up, and you will be shown around and given an explanation on any safety requirements such as user height occupancy and answer any questions you may have.
To ensure your delivery goes as smoothly as possible, ensure the access and area is free of litter, rubbish and animal foul. Delivery may be early morning, although if you require exact times because your party is at a venue please call 07980 788 208 asap so that we can arrange this for you.
Delivery costs are dependent on your post code, to calculate this please press the "CHECK AVAILABILITY" button below and select your postcode. Free delivery is available to certain postcodes within a 10-mile radius of our base.
Health & Safety:
Health & Safety is a priority here at Baildon Bouncy Castles, which we take seriously. All of our inflatables are tested to the strictest Health & Safety standards with valid safety certificates and additional safety checks are carried out upon every hire.
We hold a massive £5m Public Liability Insurance Policy and all of our electrical equipment is regularly PAT tested.
Hiring any of our units on a hard outdoors surface will require us to drill a few small holes into the tarmac or concrete and bolt it down to the ground for safety. Safety is our main priority and so all of our staff will give full instructions on delivery of the equipment that you have hired.
Method Statements & Risk Assessments will be carried out if required. If you do require a risk assessment, please let us know upon booking so that we can schedule the time to do this for you.
Staffing Requirements:
All of our entertainment products require a responsible adult aged 18+ supervising at all times. If you are not able to provide adequate supervision, we can help, please take a look at our Event Staff Category or just click here : Event Staff
Power Requirements:
A 240v mains electricity supply is required to be provided (standard household socket) within 75ft / 25m of the area you require the entertainments to be set up. Please note that we can’t use your standard household extension lead.
If a power supply is not available within this distance, we are able to supply a petrol motorized blower or a mobile generator for you, although additional costs would apply. This particular item requires a 240volt / 3kva generator, which can be selected from the extra's menu within the booking form.
For Large Events:
Here at Baildon Bouncy Castles we love to set up our entertainment products for large events no matter how large they are. If you wish to book multiple entertainments, you can do this by selecting the main item you would like to hire, then move forward to the booking form where you will be able to add the additional entertainments. Alternatively, you can Contact Us or fill out our Large Events & Multiple Hire Booking Form, in which you will be able to provide more detailed information and even arrange a site meeting if required.

Optional Extras:
All of our bouncy castles with rain / sun covers are available with an optional disco upgrade at a cost of £30. If you apply this upgrade within the booking form, a Bluetooth PA speaker and disco light will be installed into the bouncy castle upon the delivery and set-up of your entertainments hired, which can be connected to any Bluetooth device that you wish to play music from.
Overnight hire is available as an optional extra.
Overnight hire is an additional £30 and applies to all hires requested to be collected the following morning, although this is subject to availability & being located in a safe and secure location such as an indoor venue or a garden surrounded by a 6ft fence with a padlocked gate.
Late night hire is also £30 and applies to all bookings requested to be collected between the hours of 19.00 - 22.30 or for a venue or location that isn’t secure enough for overnight hire.
All of our entertainment products are covered by our whopping £5m Public Liability Insurance Policy, if you require additional insurance for a public event then we can help with this too, just contact us!
